Visit the Arctic Salmon Center
At the center, you can join guided tours, explore the viewing corridor on your own, or simply relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view. If you have any special requests, we are more than willing to accommodate, so feel free to get in touch!
Although our main focus at the Arctic Salmon Center is to provide knowledge about the Norwegian aquaculture industry, we follow a philosophy that prioritizes a good atmosphere above all else. It's perfectly fine to drop by even if you just want to eat ice cream, knit, or take a swim, for example.
See the fish firsthand
By joining a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) tour to the fish pens, you get to experience both Hamarøy and aquaculture at the same time! Out at the fish pens, you'll witness how the fish grow in the sea, and if you are lucky, you might even have the chance to feed the fish yourself.
Included in the price of the RIB tour is a guided tour at the center and all the necessary safety equipment is provided.
During the summer season (June to August), daily RIB tours depart for the fish pens at 12:00 and 14:00. To join the tour, you can either send us a message on our phonenumber (+4746803963) at the center.
